Welcome to Crafty Birdie's Dreams! ( 7/15/08 )Just made a batch of my new Bug Off soap! An essential oil blend formulated to repel flies, mosquitoes and other biting insects. It contains Lemon Eucalyptus which was recently approved by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) as an effective repellant. Other ingredients are Catnip, Peppermint, Lemongrass and more. There have rave reviews after developing this formula. Even non-believers are converts after one use. I will have it posted on here by ( 7/24/08 ). I also have a lot more nice & fun fragrances planned. Like a nice selection of men's fragrances, so please check back often. I have decided to close my Birdie's Country Soap website and just have all of my soaps right here. So, you will be seeing some nice changes here at Crafty Birdie's Dreams. Also, I just added a nice line of Earth braided rugs. I've decided they will be a nice addition, to go with my crocheted rag rugs. I haven't given up on braiding my own, just need a few more hours in each day! BIG SALE I need to make room for more new rugs, so I've marked down my sale rugs even more!! I know you may not see the size or the colors that will work for you and I would be happy to work with you to make just the right ones for your home. What I like to do on custom orders is, have you tell me what you'd like me to make and I'll either e-mail you pictures of fabrics to choose from or actually send you samples in the mail to pick from. I have a lot of nice fabric to choose from. I always like to be sure I completely understand what you want me to make before I get started. Colors, size, shape, and anything else that may make a difference. So, if this sounds good to you, please send me an e-mail and we'll get started with your new rugs. If I'm not in the kitchen making soap, I'm playing with my fabric or making a new crocheted rug. It's always fun to come up with new and pretty color combinations. My crocheted rag rugs make a really nice and unique gift at any time of the year. If you know someone that needs a soft rug to step out of bed on or just to add nice warmth and color to a room, then you've come to the right place. They work great as a nice durable and comfortable bed for the pet in your family, also. The picture above are just a few of the fabric end rolls that I have. I have bias, polycottons, cottons, and flannels in a lot of different prints and colors. Some are on a cardboard roll and others are flat folded. I charge $3.00 a pound, plus shipping.
