My latest learning experience, has been how to make cold & hot processed soap. I really enjoy doing this. I tend to make a lot of different fragrances and end up liking all of them. This is a really gentle soap with lots of nice lather. I put lots of TLC in each and every bar. I make it in small batches right in my country kitchen. Each bar is hand cut.

I've found a lot of pleasure in crocheting ragrugs, also. I use cottons, polycottons, and even nice warm flannel to make my rugs. They are all very durable and wash up really nice. They are also reversible, so if you have one in the kitchen and happen to drop a little bit of spaghetti sauce on it, you can just flip it over and your husband will never know. I crochet petbeds shaped like baskets and the rugs without the basket shape, also make really nice beds for our pets! And the great thing is, if they get dirty you can just throw them in the washer & dryer. Plus they are easy to take on trips.
